  • Sale! striking and highly detailed sculpture of a multi-headed Hindu deity, crafted from dark grey, finely textured granite or similar dense stone. The sculpture, presented as a bust, features three distinct faces visible from the front-facing perspective, strongly reminiscent of Lord Brahma, symbolizing creation and divine omniscience. The central face is human-like, with a serene expression, gently downcast eyes, and finely sculpted lips. It is adorned with an elaborate, multi-layered necklace featuring intricate patterns, and large, detailed earrings. A magnificent, highly carved crown sits upon its head. To the viewer's left, a second human-like face is shown in profile, looking outwards, with its mouth slightly open as if in speech or breath. It shares similar crown and hair detailing with the central face. To the viewer's right, the third visible head is that of an animal, depicted in profile, strongly resembling a bull or cow, complete with a prominent snout and ear, possibly symbolizing Nandi or Kamadhenu, adding layers of mythological significance. Above the central face, a towering, cylindrical headdress or crown element rises, extensively carved with traditional motifs, suggesting the upward extension of the deity's power or the presence of a fourth head, typical of Brahma's iconography, often depicted facing backward. Each Tirthankara is surmounted by a finely carved, triple-tiered ceremonial umbrella (chhatra), a significant symbol of their supreme spiritual status and protection. Above the main standing Tirthankaras, multiple ascending tiers feature numerous smaller, identical meditating Jain figures (Jinas or Tirthankaras) seated in the Padmasana (lotus) pose.
