The central figure of Gautama Buddha is seated in the classic Padmasana (full lotus meditation pose), with legs crossed and soles of the feet facing upwards, symbolizing deep stability and inner peace. The body of the Buddha sculpture is rendered in a darker, richly textured granite-like gray stone, showcasing the robust contours of his chest and shoulders. His face, sculpted with remarkable detail, conveys profound serenity and meditative focus, with eyes gently downcast. Prominent features include a distinct urna (a dot between the eyebrows, symbolizing spiritual insight) and the ushnisha (the cranial protuberance on top of the head, representing wisdom and enlightenment). His elongated earlobes are also visible, signifying detachment from worldly possessions.
