Lord Vishnu is depicted in a serene, standing posture (Samabhanga), exuding tranquility and divine power. He is shown with four arms (Chaturbhuja), a distinguishing characteristic of many Hindu gods. In his upper right hand, he holds the Sudarshana Chakra, a divine discus symbolizing cosmic law, righteousness, and the destruction of evil. His upper left hand firmly grasps the Shankha, a conch shell, representing creation, the primordial sound 'Om', and purification. His lower right hand is extended downwards in an open, possibly boon-granting (Varada Mudra) or protective gesture, while his lower left hand rests on or holds a Gada, a mighty mace signifying strength, authority, and the power to maintain cosmic order.
