The sculpture depicts Ganesha in a traditional seated posture on an intricately detailed double-lotus pedestal (padmasana), symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. Ganesha is portrayed with his characteristic elephant head, featuring large, fanned ears and a trunk gracefully curved to his left. He wears an ornate crown adorned with fine sculptural details, and one of his tusks is notably broken, a common iconographic element. His pot-bellied form is accentuated by draped clothing and sacred threads, all rendered with deep carving that suggests texture and volume. The deity is four-armed; his upper right hand firmly grasps an axe or goad, while his upper left hand holds a noose. His lower right hand is raised in a gesture of blessing or fearlessness (Abhaya Mudra), and his lower left hand cradles a bowl filled with sweet modaks, symbolizing abundance and spiritual rewards. Behind Ganesha's head is an elaborate prabhavali, an arched decorative backdrop or halo, richly adorned with traditional Indian patterns and motifs, framing the deity with a sense of grandeur.
