  • This full-body photograph showcases a magnificent, finely carved sandstone sculpture of the revered Hindu deity Hanuman, standing majestically against a plain, dark gray to black gradient background. The statue is rendered in a warm, earthy reddish-brown hue, highlighting the natural texture and artisanal quality of the stone. Hanuman is depicted in a serene, upright posture, exuding strength and grace. His face features the iconic monkey-like characteristics: a defined, elongated snout, expressive eyes with prominent brows, and a gentle, peaceful smile. He wears an elaborate, multi-tiered crown adorned with intricate carvings and a prominent central motif, signifying his regal status. Behind his head, a beautifully sculpted circular halo, or Prabhamandala, is visible, featuring delicate floral and geometric patterns that emphasize his divinity. The deity's muscular physique is adorned with rich, traditional Hindu jewelry. Multiple patterned necklaces (hara) drape across his bare chest, alongside a sacred thread (yagnopavitra). He wears ornate armlets (keyura) on his upper arms, and intricate bracelets (kankana) on his wrists. A richly decorated waist belt (kamarbandh) cinches his lower garment, a dhoti, which is also intricately patterned with graceful folds and ornate borders, suggesting flowing fabric. Anklets (nupura) adorn his feet. Hanuman's right hand is raised in the traditional Abhaya Mudra, a gesture of fearlessness, protection, and reassurance, with the palm facing forward. In his left hand, he holds a substantial, fluted mace (gada), a powerful symbol of strength, discipline, and devotion, which rests gently on the sculpted base beside his left foot. The entire sculpture stands on a detailed lotus petal base (padmasana), a common motif in Hindu iconography, further enhancing its spiritual significance and traditional aesthetic. The meticulous craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from the expressive facial features to the intricate patterns on his garments and jewelry. The soft, even studio lighting illuminates the statue, emphasizing its depth, texture, and the fine lines of the carving. A subtle logo for "the Stone STUDIO" is visible at the bottom of the base, indicating this is a handcrafted stone art piece, likely a product for sale, demonstrating exquisite traditional Indian stone carving techniques. • striking pair of light-colored, finely carved stone sculptures, presented against a dark, neutral background. The sculptures depict highly stylized, curving fish, mirrored in their pose and facing directly towards each other, creating a sense of dynamic symmetry and interaction. Each individual fish carving showcases exquisite detail: its body sweeps upwards and then gently curves back down, forming an elegant 'S' or 'C' shape. The surface of the fish is meticulously sculpted with hundreds of small, overlapping scales, giving it a realistic yet artistic texture. A prominent dorsal fin, fanned out with individual carved rays, runs along its back. The fish's head is distinct, featuring a simple round eye, pronounced gill arches, and an open mouth that conveys a sense of exhalation or perhaps a graceful leap from water. The lower section of each fish smoothly transitions into an ornamental base, intricately carved with flowing, wave-like patterns or stylized aquatic foliage, providing a stable foundation and reinforcing the marine theme of these decorative art pieces. Crafted from a light beige or sandy-toned natural stone, possibly sandstone or limestone, the material's inherent variations and smooth finish highlight the precision of the traditional carving techniques.
